Unity Gen is a holographic light and ambisonic sound activation for the group therapy room of the Usona Psychedelic Therapy and Research Center. Built on a motor, the installation functions as a chandelier when dormant and a 3D cinematic visual and sound experience when in use. I led a team of generative content creators and volumetric sound artists in collaboration with the Usona team of scientists and therapists to craft four forty-five-minute experiences. The visuals and content were produced generatively so geometries morph continuously and a corresponding custom UX/UI for therapists to have complete control of the emotional valence of group Psilocybin and Ketamine trips. This experience is the only one of its kind in North America, bridging the worlds of legal therapeutic psychedelic medicine and volumetric media.
